The mountain doesn’t wait for anyone to figure out their gear, so the Defiance J1 is engineered to get riders off the lift and into their flow state without a second of hesitation. Built specifically for those who are starting to find their edge, these bindings remove the mechanical friction that often plagues smaller setups. The highback offers that critical, customized support for carving groomers or testing out the first few features in the park, while the plush ankle straps cradle the foot to eliminate pressure points during long days on the slopes. Because conditions change, the tool-free adjustment system ensures the fit stays dialed mid-run without needing to hunt for a screwdriver in the lodge. With a baseplate designed to translate even the smallest movements into responsive energy, these bindings turn every cat track and side-hit into an opportunity for progression, giving riders the confidence to explore the entire mountain at their own pace.
