The trail gets steep and the pack weight starts to pull, but Deuter designed the Fox 40 to make that burden disappear into the scenery. Built with the same technical rigor as their adult expedition gear, this pack handles rugged scrambles and long-haul treks with ease. The architecture centers on a supportive suspension system paired with plush, cushioned straps that distribute weight evenly across the back, preventing the fatigue that usually sidelines a long day in the mountains. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtful layout of internal pockets that keep snacks, extra layers, and safety essentials from becoming a tangled mess at the bottom of the bag.
