The friction of a limestone slab meeting the textured grip of 4.2mm TRAX SAS rubber is the kind of tactile conversation that builds confidence on every move. Evolv crafted the Defy Lace LV with a neutral, symmetrical profile that feels intuitive the moment you step into it, stripping away the discomfort often associated with high-performance footwear. Because it utilizes a classic lace-up closure, you gain total control over the tension across your bridge, allowing for a customized fit that holds firm whether you are working through a technical boulder problem or settling in for a long afternoon of multi-pitch trad. The 1.4mm sensitive midsole offers just enough feedback to help you find your footing on small edges without sacrificing the plush, approachable feel that makes these a go-to for daily gym sessions.
