The Fizik Tempo Overcurve R4 Wide Cycling Shoes are designed for those who seek comfort and performance in their cycling gear. These shoes feature an innovative Overcurve construction, which consists of a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the two bony protrusions known as the lateral and medial malleoli. This design results in an asymmetrical shape, with the throat of the shoe curving over the foot from its outside to its inside. The shoe also boasts a R4 outsole that delivers a perfect balance of comfort and pedalling efficiency while providing a lower degree of flex and less volume compared to the R3 outsoles. The upper is constructed from a resilient polyurethane laminated material combined over a comfortable mesh, resulting in reduced yield and providing long lasting foot support where it’s needed most. Additionally, the shoe features a Boa IP1-B dial for easy, on-the-go adjustments to provide a secure and comfortable fit. The wide version offers a high-volume fit for maximum comfort for longer rides.
