Garmin Foretrex 601

• The Garmin Foretrex 601 becomes an essential extension of your navigation kit. Designed to be worn on the wrist rather than tucked into a pack, this rugged navigator keeps your hands free for trekking poles, climbing, or map work while maintaining a constant line of sight to your coordinates. Its displas a crisp clarity, ensuring that whether you are navigating dense forest cover or high-alpine ridgelines, the data you need remains readable at a glance. Built to military-grade standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance, it utilizes the combined power of GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo satellite networks to provide a rock-solid position lock even in the most challenging environments. Beyond its primary role as a navigator, the integrated altimeter, barometer, and three-axis electronic compass function as a reliable dashboard for your expedition, helping you track barometric pressure trends to stay ahead of incoming weather fronts. Compact enough to wear comfortably over a base layer yet durable enough to withstand the rigors of multi-day bushwhacking.
