When the clouds break after a multi-day storm and the high-alpine bowls are draped in a pristine, untracked blanket, you want a tool that pivots on a dime and floats without effort. The 184cm Head Kore 111 is engineered for those precise moments, stripping away the bulk of traditional big-mountain skis to favor a sophisticated Graphene-KOROYD-Carbon chassis. By replacing heavy laminates with a weight-conscious blend of Karuba and poplar, Head created a platform that feels energetic underfoot rather than sluggish, allowing you to charge through wind-buffed gullies or hop-turn down technical couloirs with instinctive precision. The Topless Tech construction keeps the weight remarkably low, but the Multi-Layer Carbon Sandwich build ensures you aren't sacrificing composure when the snow turns variable or the exit traverses get choppy. With its deep rocker profile and wide waist, this ski doesn't just navigate deep powder—it thrives in it, offering a smeary, surfy ride that still holds a resolute edge on the firm pack waiting back at the lift. It is a masterclass in balance, providing the stability demanded by aggressive lines while maintaining the agility needed to dance through tight, snow-choked glades.
