The Katadyn Hiker Pro Transparent Water Microfilter bridges the gap between raw, wild water and a clean, refreshing drink. Its pleated glass fiber technology acts as a high-performance barrier against protozoa and bacteria, while the integrated carbon core scrubs away those funky, swampy odors that often plague backcountry sources. Because the housing is transparent, you can actually see the filtration process in motion, giving you total peace of mind before you stow it away in your pack. Whether you are filling a hydration bladder on the move or topping off a wide-mouth bottle at a basecamp, the quick-connect fittings make the transition seamless. With an included cleanable filter protector, this system is built to handle silty, challenging conditions without sacrificing flow rate, ensuring you spend less time hunched over the water’s edge and more time traversing the ridge ahead.
