La Sportiva builds their Crest Evo Shell Jacket as a tough touring shell for powder days and backcountry movement. Their Evo Shell recycled polyester fabric uses a PFC-free Sympatex co-polymer membrane for windproof and waterproof protection. Their fabric is described as 100% recycled, and its mono-component construction is also identified as recyclable. Their adjustable, helmet-compatible hood adds protection when visibility and weather deteriorate. Their articulated sleeves preserve freedom of movement for skinning, pole planting, and skiing. Their hook-and-loop adjustments and drawstring hem help dial in the fit and keep weather out. Their storage layout includes two hand pockets, one internal zippered pocket, and one internal mesh pocket for full-day touring essentials.
