Their three-layer shell construction is designed to balance low weight, compressibility, and dependable defense from the elements. The jacket uses Pertex Shield fabric with a 20,000 millimeter waterproof rating to help keep storms from slowing down a run, hike, or alpine push. A structured adjustable hood with a protective visor improves coverage while helping maintain a comfortable fit. YKK water-repellent zippers at the front and chest pocket add protection in wet conditions. The chest pocket also works as a packability pocket, making the jacket easy to stash when the weather clears. Elastic cuffs, an adjustable elasticated hem, reflective detailing, PFAS-free materials, and a slim fit make this shell a clean, efficient layer for lightweight storm protection.
