Integrated inner briefs add support without requiring a separate liner. Overlapping panel construction with a split leg opens the stride for steep climbs and quick turnover. A drawstring waist allows easy adjustment before or during the run. Bonded hems help minimize chafing across longer efforts. Multiple pockets, including a zippered waistband pocket, two side pockets, and a large front pocket, make these shorts unusually useful for carrying small trail essentials.
