The ultralight construction packs into its own chest pocket, turning the pocket into a stow pouch with a hanging loop. A low-profile helmet-compatible hood is designed to stay in place under a helmet. Reinforced laser perforations on the hood help preserve hearing, while underarm perforations improve ventilation. Wind resistance, water resistance through a PFC-free DWR, and abrasion resistance make the jacket useful on and off the wall. An adjustable hem and elastic cuffs help seal out wind and debris when conditions change. With unrestricted range of motion and Bluesign plus recycled-fabric technologies, La Sportiva's windbreaker is a strong layer for climbing approaches, gusty ridgelines, and lightweight travel.
