Your hands barely register the weight as you crest the final switchback, the rhythmic tap of carbon against stone acting as a metronome for your pace. Engineered by Gossamer Gear, the LT5 Three Piece Carbon Trekking Poles strip away the bulk of traditional gear, leaving you with a featherlight extension of your own reach. The 100% carbon fiber construction absorbs the harsh vibration of rocky descents, while the EVA foam grips stay comfortable through miles of sweaty palms and shifting humidity. When the trail disappears into a scramble or you need to stash your kit inside a pack, the three-piece design collapses to a tidy 23.5 inches in seconds. Whether you are navigating slick alpine granite or pacing out a steady rhythm on a long-distance thru-hike, the reliable twist-lock mechanism keeps your height settings dialed exactly where you need them. Equipped with carbide tips that bite into loose scree and removable baskets for varied seasons, these poles turn technical terrain into a series of fluid, confident strides.
