The smell of fresh grounds rising through the crisp, thin air of a high-alpine morning is a luxury worth carrying. MSR designed the WindBurner Coffee Press to ensure that your first ritual of the day isn't compromised by the elements, turning your 1.8L stove system into a refined brewing station. Its stainless steel strainer disc is engineered for consistency, while a flexible perimeter gasket creates a vacuum-tight seal against the pot wall, effectively locking away stray grinds so you get nothing but a clean, full-bodied cup. When it’s time to move, the knob breaks down into a low-profile, packable form that vanishes into your kit, leaving plenty of room for the rest of your essentials. Whether you’re fueling up for a technical ascent or enjoying a slow, sun-drenched dawn at a lakeside camp, this press offers the kind of reliable performance that turns a standard morning into a highlight of the trip.
