The ridge line narrows ahead, but your pack stays quiet and centered against your back, never pulling at your balance as you navigate the scramble. Ortovox engineered the Alpine Traverse 18 S to disappear during high-output missions, utilizing a specialized short-back architecture that hugs the torso rather than fighting it. Crafted from rugged, high-tenacity fabric that shrugs off jagged granite and brush, this 18-liter companion manages your technical gear with intuitive precision. Whether you are clipping poles to the exterior during a steep climb or unfolding the integrated helmet net as the terrain shifts toward technical walls, every feature serves the momentum of the day. Inside, the load distribution creates a feeling of effortless carriage, letting you focus entirely on the rhythm of your ascent and the vastness of the peaks surrounding you.
