Clouds shift from gray to charcoal, and the first heavy drops turn the dust on the trail into dark, slick ribbons of mud. When the sky opens up, you don't want to be worried about a sleeping bag soaking through at the bottom of your pack. The Osprey Ultralight Raincover acts as a second skin for your kit, shielding your essentials from the deluge with a streamlined, weather-resistant barrier that stays locked in place even when the wind whips across a high-alpine ridge. Crafted from whisper-light materials that won’t weigh you down, it secures with a reliable, wrap-around tension system that stays put through miles of rugged terrain. Because visibility matters when the horizon disappears into mist, the bright, signal-ready fabric keeps you conspicuous, while the entire setup vanishes into its own integrated pocket the moment the sun breaks through. It is an effortless insurance policy for your gear, ensuring that when you finally reach camp, your extra layers are as dry as they were when you left the trailhead.
