Chasing the perfect line through sun-dappled singletrack requires gear that disappears the moment you grip the bars. Outdoor Research built the Freewheel MTB XT Glove to bridge the gap between heavy-duty trail protection and the tactile precision needed for technical sections. The synthetic suede palm does the heavy lifting on chattery, root-strewn descents, with targeted padding that muffles trail vibration without deadening your feedback from the bike. While the back-of-hand mesh breathes like a second skin during high-output climbs, the pre-curved architecture eliminates bunching, keeping your hands fatigue-free during long days in the saddle. Precision is baked into the details—from the silicone-printed braking fingers that provide reliable modulation in dusty or damp conditions to the touchscreen-responsive tips that let you check your GPS or snap a quick summit photo without shedding your gear.
