Mist curls off the morning trail as you cinch this pack tight, feeling the reassuring snap of the buckle against your hip. Patagonia built the Black Hole 5L for those moments when you need your essentials within reach but want your hands completely free to scramble over granite or handle camera gear. The recycled ripstop fabric is fortified with a TPU-film laminate, meaning a sudden alpine downpour won’t threaten your layers or electronics stored inside. While the main compartment swallows a spare shell and snacks, the dedicated stretch pockets on the sides accommodate water bottles without adding unnecessary bulk to your silhouette. After a full day of movement, the monomesh back panel keeps airflow moving against your torso, ensuring you stay cool long after the sun hits its peak.
