The first rays of light crest the ridge, turning the morning mist into a biting chill, but you remain unfazed as you click into the pedals. Built by Pedal Mafia, the Pro Mid-Weight Jersey strikes the elusive balance between shielding against the elements and shedding heat when the road tilts upward. Its fabric sits against the skin with a soft, thermal confidence, working in tandem with high-stretch side panels to ensure that even when you are pushing your heart rate to the redline, the air flows freely. The aerodynamic cut hugs the frame, eliminating the nuisance of wind flap during fast-paced descents, while the internal structure remains focused on moisture management. Whether you’re tucking a spare tube and energy gels into the reinforced rear pockets or locking the full-length zipper against a gusty climb, this layer remains anchored in place by a secure silicone grip. It is a piece designed for the long, variable stretches of the shoulder season, turning temperamental weather into just another variable to master on the ride home.
