The crisp snap of frozen snow beneath your boots signals that it is time to rely on gear that balances precision with instinct. The PETZL Summit Mountaineering Ice Axe bridges the gap between steep, technical ascents and long, sweeping glaciers with a design that feels like an extension of your own reach. Its shaft geometry is a masterclass in versatility: the subtle curve near the head offers essential clearance when pulling over ice bulges, while the tapered, straight lower end bites into firm, wind-packed snow with minimal effort.
