Product Condition: The Quest Barrier Jacket - Men's is in Good condition. This jacket was owned for less than a month. It was returned with light staining on the back of both arms, not very noticeable and may wash out. Jacket is otherwise in excellent condition. Sold as is all warranties void.

Pearl Izumi designed its Select Barrier Jacket to be the ultimate packable protective layer. The jacket accomplishes this through the use of Pearl Izumi's lightweight fabrics and sleek design, making it that line of 'just in case' defense you'll be glad you stuffed in your back pocket before rolling out the door. For the construction of the jacket, Pearl Izumi employed its exclusive Select Barrier fabric. This material has been hailed by Pearl as the benchmark for an equilibrium among warmth, moisture transfer, and protection from the elements. It uses a stretchy composition that conforms to the contours of your body, and it's also exceptionally wind- and water-resistant.

By creating the Select Barrier with a contoured paneling design, Pearl Izumi was able to achieve its 'semi-form' fit with the jacket. This results in a fit that moves with you as you move, and eliminates the front panel from bunching or hiking up. Additionally, Pearl Izumi engineered the jacket with a generous drop tail in the rear, as well as elasticized hem and cuffs. Furthering this idea, the full-front zipper provides ample ventilation, but also uses an internal draft flap and zipper garage that prevents cold wind from penetrating the jacket. For storage of your ride essentials, Pearl Izumi included a large rear zippered pocket. And to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, it also incorporated reflective elements throughout the jacket.
