This paddling essential was created with input from raft guides to make our favorite slingback sandals perform even better as we navigate rapids. The jacquard webbing, signature in all of Chaco's sport sandals, is reinforced with 30% more nylon to increase durability. A smaller buckle replaces the original to lessen pressure on the foot when wedging it into the raft. But the true hero of this sandal is the updated sole—Vibram MegaGrip delivers the stickiness necessary to stay stable in the wet rafting environment, and the unique lug design moves water away and improves grip in critical zones.
