Waking up with the stiffness of the forest floor pressed into your back is a rite of passage you can finally skip. When you reach your campsite after a long drive and pop the valve on the REI Co-op Camp Bed, the open-cell foam interior does the heavy lifting for you, steadily expanding into a plush, supportive mattress that feels closer to your bed at home than a typical camping mat. The generous rectangular footprint gives you plenty of space to sprawl out, while the rugged exterior fabric ignores the inevitable scrapes of gear storage and uneven tent floors. By creating a reliable thermal barrier between you and the chilling earth, this pad ensures that the only thing you’ll be focused on the next morning is your first cup of coffee. It’s a foundational piece of kit designed to turn the back of a van or the floor of a sprawling family tent into a sanctuary, letting you recharge fully so you’re ready to tackle the horizon again at sunrise.
