When the temperature plummets and the hard-packed earth threatens to sap your warmth, the REI Co-op Camp Bed turns a site into a sanctuary. Instead of wrestling with hand pumps or lung-burning manual inflation, you simply open the valve and let the internal high-loft foam expand into a plush, supportive mattress that isolates you from the chill radiating off the ground. Whether you are setting up in the sparse shade of a high-desert canyon or laying out inside a tent after a long day of navigating switchbacks, the underside grip keeps your bedding firmly in place, even when you toss and turn. It manages that rare balance of rugged durability—ready for gravel, roots, and years of seasonal abuse—and a soft-touch surface that invites genuine rest. When the dawn breaks, the pad rolls down efficiently, sliding into its included stuff sack with ease, leaving you ready to pack up and chase the next horizon without the lingering soreness of a rough night’s sleep.
