Scrambling up granite boulders and plunging into muddy creek beds is a standard Tuesday for those who refuse to stay indoors. REI Co-op Mountainmaker Pants are built to mirror that restless energy, using a rugged nylon-blend fabric that acts as a fortress against abrasive rock and tangled brush. We’ve mapped the panels with articulated knees so that leaping over downed logs feels fluid rather than restrictive, while the reinforced seat and knees provide a vital barrier when the terrain gets unforgiving.
