From mixed climbs to pushing our way up an icy slope or waterfall, the EDELRID Riot Adze II Ice Tool is a solid choice when we need a durable and trustworthy ice tool for whatever the mountain throws our way. This ice tool has a Technical or Type 2 rating, which means it is super durable and can withstand any abuse you can put it through on the mountain. The Riot Adze II is EDLERID's all-around ice tool that is just at home scaling snow-covered peaks as it is chomping into frozen waterfalls. A slightly curved aluminum shaft is lightweight and includes an adjustable handrest to aid our grip and control of the axe. A steel adze and pick make short work out of steep terrain, and a steel spike can penetrate the ice on the flatter ground for stability. The Riot Adze II Ice Tool has a waterfall pick for easier penetration that results in less shattering ice, and the head can be fitted with an accelerator for easier penetration into hard ice.
