Nature Tech Alpine Hemp is a natural performance fabric that offers exceptional tear resistance along with a unique texture, high breathability and outstanding moisture management. Our hybrid woven construction blends hemp with Sorona bio-based polymer fibres for long-lasting softness and thermoregulating next-to-skin comfort, while the Durastretch panel in the seat area provides additional abrasion resistance and stretch freedom of movement.

Sustainability Hemp is a unique naturally functional fibre with a low environmental impact. During cultivation, it's naturally resistant to pests, requires relatively little water, and grows fast. It's blended here with Sorona responsible plant-based biopolymer fibres made from corn starch, and adds lightness, softness, and material stretch without the need for elastane. This pant is a Salewa Committed product, manufactured according to additionally strict and independently audited environmental and social responsibility standards. Both hemp and Sorona are fully biodegradable.

Versatility The wind-resistant fabric works well on gusty days. And when temperatures rise, the lower legs zip off to make shorts. Alternatively, you can raise the leg ends using an adjustable drawcord. The comfortable waistband is partnered with a zip fly and snap button closure, and there are standard belt loops. It comes with two open side pockets, and two cargo leg pockets - one with a zip-secure top compartment for important items. Additionally, the men's model has one open rear pocket.
