When the morning fog clings to the ridgeline and the snowpack transitions from wind-buffed crust to sun-softened rollers, the Salomon Assassin 162cm reveals its true colors as a mountain-wide chameleon. This deck thrives on the chaos of changing conditions, utilizing its Rock Out Camber to deliver a locked-in feel on firm morning groomers while maintaining enough float to stay buoyant when you duck into the sidecountry trees. Underneath, the Aspen SLCT core paired with Popster Booster construction gives the board a lively, kinetic snap that encourages you to treat the entire mountain like a feature-rich terrain park.
