Technical, technical, and undeniably tactile, the Salomon Genesis transforms rocky, unpredictable ridgelines into your personal playground. You feel it the moment you step in: the EndoFit sleeve wraps around the midfoot like a second skin, eliminating the slop that typically plagues long mountain efforts. Beneath you, the Energy Foam midsole strikes a precise balance between soft landings and snappy energy return, while the Active Chassis acts as a steadying hand on off-camber terrain, guiding every footfall without feeling restrictive. Whether you are navigating loose scree or damp, mossy root sections, the All-Terrain Contagrip rubber bites into the surface with unrelenting confidence. Because the upper is reinforced with a durable toe cap and highly breathable textiles, you can charge through dense brush or talus fields without worrying about snagging or fatigue. With the Quicklace system locking in your fit in a single motion, you are free to stop overthinking your gear and start focusing entirely on the horizon ahead.
