The high-alpine ridgeline demands a boot that disappears on your feet while remaining ready for the crux. Salomon engineered the MTN Summit Pro for those who prioritize efficiency without sacrificing the technical edge needed when the skin track turns into a vertical scramble. The 360° wrapping shell creates an intuitive, precise hold, effectively turning your boot into an extension of your leg for confident edging on firm, wind-scoured snow. With a robust rubber rand shielding the exterior and a lugged sole designed to bite into loose rock and ice, this boot invites you to push past the traditional limits of alpine touring. Whether you are clicking into crampons for a final push to the summit or navigating a steep, committing descent, the construction provides the lateral stability required for technical mastery, all while maintaining a featherlight profile that keeps your legs fresh for the long haul back to the trailhead.
