The mountains don’t ask for permission, so bring gear that doesn't hesitate when the ridge line narrows and the snow turns firm. Salomon built the MTN Summit Pro to thrive where high-output climbing meets technical descent. The Grilamid shell shaves weight for long-distance skin tracks, yet it retains a rigid, responsive backbone that keeps you locked in when you finally point the tips downhill. Precision is dialed in via the BOA Fit System, which hugs the foot with a consistent, pressure-free wrap, while the heat-moldable My CustomFit Pro liner adapts to your unique geometry to eliminate hot spots before they start. Whether you are navigating jagged couloirs or enjoying the rhythmic flow of a wide-open backcountry bowl, the Custom Shell HD allows for a personalized, anatomical fit that feels like an extension of your own movement. With a full rubber sole designed to grip slick rock and icy transitions, this boot ensures that every step of the journey—from the pre-dawn parking lot to the final turn—is met with confidence and unwavering stability.
