Trading the clunky bulk of traditional boots for the agility of a track spike, the Salomon Outline Mid GTX changes the pace of your trek through rugged backcountry. The design strips away unnecessary weight, opting for a streamlined, athletic silhouette that moves intuitively with your foot rather than fighting against it. When the trail dissolves into slick granite or loose scree, the Contagrip outsole bites into the earth with confidence, while the GORE-TEX membrane creates an impenetrable barrier against stream crossings and unexpected mountain squalls. Inside, the EnergyCell foam absorbs the repetitive shock of long miles, keeping your legs feeling fresh even as the elevation climbs.
