Whether you are weaving through tight, snow-dusted glades or carving high-speed arcs on freshly groomed corduroy, the Salomon QST 98 paired with the Marker Squire 11 creates a platform that feels less like equipment and more like an extension of your own intent. The 98mm waist strikes a rare balance, offering enough surface area to float through a mid-winter refresh while maintaining the surgical precision needed to navigate firm, wind-swept ridges. Inside, the poplar core provides a lively, energetic snap that keeps the ride engaging, while the proprietary C/FX carbon and flax weave dampens chatter, turning erratic, frozen pockets into smooth, predictable terrain. By integrating Cork Damplifier in the tips, the design eliminates the jarring vibration often felt at high speeds, allowing for a quiet, composed descent even when the snow surface gets technical.
