These bindings are designed to provide the perfect balance between the lightweight efficiency of a pin binding for uphill travel and the safety and performance of a traditional alpine binding for the descent. The Shift MNC 13 is a hybrid binding that combines the best of both worlds, offering a seamless transition from climbing to descending mode without sacrificing performance or safety. The Salomon S/Lab Shift MNC 13 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings are equipped with a multi-norm compatible (MNC) toe piece that adjusts to accommodate both alpine and touring boot soles. The toe piece features a unique design that allows it to function as a traditional alpine binding when in ski mode, but can be easily shifted into a pin binding for uphill travel. The heel piece offers a high level of elasticity to absorb shocks and reduce the risk of pre-release. With the Salomon S/Lab Shift MNC 13, you can enjoy the freedom and versatility of ski touring without compromising on downhill performance or safety.

This UnNew Salomon S​/Lab Shift MNC 13 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings is in Good condition.  
  
Products in Good condition have been well loved, but still have life left in them. Signs of wear may include pilling, snags, lint, animal hair, dried dirt, minor but noticeable staining, and other cosmetic imperfections. Small tears or holes may be present, but will not affect the functionality of the item.  
 
With this item, the following damages were observed: 

-bindings display some scratching on plastic and metal components 

-brake levers have some play and measure closure to 130mm width; however the max brake width sold for this model is 120mm

-bindings may be from 2021-2022 model year

  • Boot Compatibility: MNC (Multi-Norm Certified) – Certified for use with ISO 5355 Alpine, ISO 9523 Alpine Touring, and WTR (Walk To Ride) boots.
  • Tech Toe Fittings Required For Use In Uphill (Touring) Mode
  • Requires Boot with Full Heel and Toe Lugs – Not compatible with boots like the Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour and TLT, Atomic Backland, Salomon X-Alp and Arc'teryx Procline, among others. These boots have shortened or non-existent lugs and will not fit into the Shift in downhill mode.
  • Low Profile Chassis – Low stand height for increased terrain feedback and enhanced power transmission.
  • Oversized Platform – Wide footprint and double aluminum frame tubes create a super strong interface between boot and ski. Ensures maximum lateral power transmission.
