The Sawyer Mini, at a mere two ounces this hollow fiber membrane filter turns a sketchy stream or a stagnant pond into your personal hydration station. It relies on a rigorous mechanical filtration process that strips away 99.99999% of bacteria like Salmonella, Cholera, and E. coli, without the chemical aftertaste of tablets or the bulk of a heavy pump system. ideal for squeezing water from the included pouch, or threading it onto a standard disposable bottle to keep moving on a long trek, the flow rate remains impressively steady. It is designed to be the only filtration tool you will need for years of backcountry travel, boasting a lifespan of up to 100,000 gallons. Pack it in your emergency stash or tuck it into a hip-belt pocket; it is the kind of reliable, low-profile gear that disappears into your pack until the exact moment you need it to turn a questionable water source into peace of mind.
