SmartWool crafts this base layer from Merino wool, creating a personal microclimate that traps heat while breathing through the most intense ascents. Whether you are skinning up a backcountry ridge or finding a quiet moment by the fire after a day on the slopes, the natural fiber moves moisture away from the skin and resists lingering odors, staying fresh through back-to-back days of exploration. It sits close to the body, acting as a reliable, soft foundation that simplifies the art of layering and turns bitter winter outings into days you never want to end.
