The Avid/SRAM 40mm IS Disc Brake Adaptor converts an International Standard (IS) frame or fork mount to accept a standard post-mount caliper while upsizing rotor capacity. Providing +40mm of spacing, this adaptor enables the installation of a 200mm rotor on a 160mm IS front fork or a 180mm rotor on a 140mm IS rear frame mount. Built from lightweight, durable aluminum and supplied with mounting bolts, it ensures rigid caliper positioning for optimal pad contact and stopping power.
