Scrambling up a sun-baked talus field requires gear that moves with your momentum rather than fighting against it. Stio built the Coburn XT to bridge the gap between technical grit and everyday comfort, utilizing a resilient performance blend that shrugs off abrasive rock faces without feeling heavy or stiff. The articulated design and strategically placed gusset keep your stride fluid on steep ascents, while the material’s quick-dry, moisture-wicking nature ensures you stay comfortable through midday heat or sudden afternoon mist. With streamlined utility pockets that secure your essentials without adding bulk, these shorts disappear into the background of your activity, letting you focus entirely on the horizon ahead or the cold beverage waiting at the trailhead.
