The morning air bites with a crystalline chill as you step away from the lift, the horizon blurred by spindrift and promise. Stio built the Environ XT to exist in that threshold where the weather turns demanding and the terrain sharpens its teeth. Constructed from a resilient, three-layer waterproof fabric, this shell acts as a fortress against the storm without trapping the heat generated during a grueling skin track climb. When the pace quickens, intuitive underarm vents dump moisture instantly, keeping your internal climate stable through long traverses and technical descents. The silhouette moves with you, thanks to articulated sleeves that never pull or bind, while the hood expands effortlessly over a helmet when the wind begins to howl. With a dedicated home for your skins or goggles inside and an integrated skirt to lock out the deep, loose snow, this piece simplifies your kit, letting you focus entirely on the line ahead rather than the gear on your back. It is a thoughtful, hard-wearing companion for those who measure their days by elevation gained and untouched corduroy found.
