When the ridgeline demands a balance between biting winds and a heavy heart rate, the Stio Exploit jacket becomes the piece you stop thinking about and start relying on. This softshell construction moves with the fluidity of a baselayer while shielding you from the raw unpredictability of high-alpine weather. We built this for those long, committing days where the temperature fluctuates as quickly as the terrain; the fabric breathes with intentionality, wicking moisture away while you power through steep switchbacks or exposed scrambles. A tailored, structured hood seals out the chill without obstructing your peripheral view, and the intuitive pocket placement keeps essential navigation or energy gels within reach without disrupting your stride. With a fit that prioritizes articulation, it feels less like gear and more like a second skin that empowers you to push further into the backcountry, confident that the elements won't dictate your pace.
