The morning dew on the high-alpine grass disappears the moment you start climbing, and the Second Light Short from Stio is built to vanish just as quickly. Engineered from a nimble, four-way stretch ripstop nylon, this piece feels weightless against the skin, allowing for an unrestricted stride whether you are navigating a scramble or finding your rhythm on a forest loop. The integrated liner provides reliable support without bulk, while the DWR finish sheds light mist and rogue splashes during creek crossings. Stio prioritized utility by tucking a zippered pocket at the rear, keeping a key or card secure while you focus on the horizon. When the sun dips and visibility wanes, reflective accents offer a subtle safety net, ensuring you stay seen during those final miles of a long mission. This is gear that doesn’t demand attention—it simply performs, wicking away moisture and moving in sync with your pace until the day is done.
