Frosty trailhead mornings often demand a compromise between heavy-duty insulation and the freedom to move, but Stio solved that equation with the Second Light Skirt. Imagine peeling off your bulky outer layers as the sun finally clears the ridge, yet keeping your core temperature locked in with this featherlight piece. Constructed with wind-resistant fabric and strategic thermal fill, it sits perfectly over your favorite compression tights, providing that vital extra pocket of heat across the hips and thighs where you need it most. When the wind picks up during a high-alpine traverse or you simply want to add a layer of defense against the biting cold at a post-hike cafe, the side zip allows for a quick transition without having to shed your boots. It packs down to the size of a coffee mug, making it the smartest, most unobtrusive stowaway in your pack for those days when the thermometer starts dropping and the adventure is only just reaching its stride.
