Castelli's RS Superleggera Jersey makes a serious upgrade to kit, adding a dose of polished European style and featherweight functionality to your rides, all without emptying your wallet the way a sports car would.

Rather than classify the RS Superleggera as strictly a climber's jersey, Castelli readied it for training versatility and race-ready lightness, using impossibly light Futura fabric to achieve a form-fitting fit and fast moisture transfer away from your skin. The fabric's impressively soft too—not unlike the smooth leather interior of a sports car, if your mind's still there. Castelli didn't stop with Futura either, adding its 3D mesh and Stretch Woven fabrics to enhance fit and breathability, with Stretch Woven giving the Superleggera the jersey increased mobility and 3D mesh adding ventilation across the back and sides to keep you cool on midsummer rides.

Castelli took the name of the Superleggera seriously, constructing it with all of the luxurious details befitting of a jersey first conceived in the Alps and named for a high-speed car. It used bonded no-sew seaming to achieve impossibly smooth waist and sleeve hems, and included elastic along the waistband to hold the jersey in-place when you're standing on a climb. Three standard and a single zippered rear pocket give you space to store bonk-preventing nutrition, while a neck-saving zipper flap saves you from long-ride chafing. In case you're out past sunset, the jersey's reflective accents will keep you visible to other motorists, and the entire jersey employs the standard Castelli fit: tight across the chest while standing and contoured in the saddle.
