When the storm clears and the terrain opens up, you need a platform that refuses to blink at high speeds. The Völkl Katana 108 is engineered for those who treat the entire mountain like a canvas, blending the raw, mechanical precision of a Titanal Frame with the intuitive fluidity of a 3D Radius Sidecut. Whether you are navigating tight, technical chutes or carving wide, high-velocity arcs through wind-buffed chop, the combination of poplar and beech creates a chassis that is remarkably damp yet startlingly energetic. Paired with the Tyrolia Attack 17 GW bindings, this setup locks you in with unwavering reliability, allowing you to trust your edges on boilerplate ice or float through deep, untracked drifts with absolute composure. The carbon-infused tips shave off weight where it matters most, keeping your transitions snappy while the directional twin shape encourages a creative approach to natural features.
