Volkl M7 Mantra Skis 2026 w/ Look NX 12 Demo Bindings - 170cm

The rhythmic chatter of early morning ice gives way to the silent, effortless drift of afternoon powder, and the Volkl M7 Mantra remains the only constant through the shift. By integrating the 4D Tailored Titanal Frame, this iteration sharpens the response where you need it most, stripping away excess weight while anchoring your edge into the firmest, wind-scoured ridges. The magic happens within the 3D Radius Sidecut; it’s an intuitive system that doesn’t force you into a single turn shape, allowing you to smear through tight, sun-baked bumps or open up into wide, high-speed arcs with equal confidence. With the Look NX 12 Demo bindings mounted and ready, you gain the freedom to dial in your stance and tackle everything from steep, technical chutes to long, undulating groomers. Built with a robust poplar and beech core, these skis possess a lively, energetic snap that rewards aggressive input, ensuring that whether the mountain is locked in a freeze or softening under the spring sun, your ride feels refined, predictable, and undeniably fast.

TECH SPECS

Volkl M7 Mantra

• Terrain: All-mountain
• Rocker Type: Tip & Tail Rocker - Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle
• Shape: 4 Radius Drive: A new sidecut with 4 distinct radii where they're most effective. ~20m in the shovel for quick turn initiation, ~40m between shovel and binding for stability at speed, ~15m under the bindings for agility and ~25m behind the bindings for a dynamic finish to your turns
• Core: Multilayer Woodcore: A combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it
• Laminates:

  • Tailored Carbon Tips: In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on handling.
  • Tailored Titanal Frame: The size of the frames is tailored to the skier's height, skiing ability and power. This means that longer ski models have a higher titanal content for more stiffness, more direct power transmission and stronger dampening. The shorter the length, the lower the titanal content, which makes the ski more agile, so that smaller, lighter and less powerful skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski.
  • Titanal Binding Platform
• Sidewalls: Full Sidewall: Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls.
• Base: P-Tex 2100: A sintered high-density and high molecular weight polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability
• Tail Type: Partial twin
• Dimensions (Tip/Waist/Tail): 139/96/121 mm
• Turning Radius: 22.9/38.3/15.2/19.8 m

Look NX 12 Demo

• Full Action Toe | 45 mm Elasticity: Featuring 45mm of elastic travel and 180⁰ multi-directional release, the Full Action toe piece delivers best-in-class retention and release and increased coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission
• 180˚ Multi-Directional Release: A true mechanical upward release that functions independently from the heel for the most effective multi-directional protection in the case of a fall
• Dual Standard Concept (ISO 5355 Alpine and GripWalk): Look strategically reinforced the toe housing, increased the toe ramp, elongated the toe-wings, and created a toe that is compatible with both ISO 5355 Alpine and GripWalk soles
• Four Points of Contact: Four points of contact with the boot provide maximum power transmission
