We open the underarm vents to keep our microclimate relaxed through the bootpack, while the soft material lets us move freely when hop-turning down steep couloirs. As we climb and carve, the waterproof construction keeps us dry, and the built-in wrist gaiters, balaclava, and powder skirt make sure flakes and spray don't find a way in.
