The high-alpine silence is broken only by the rhythmic scrape of skins, a sound that becomes meditative when your setup is as featherlight as the Weston Summit Carbon 105. By pairing this carbon-reinforced chassis with the burly, reliable Dynafit ST Rotation 14 bindings, you gain a machine that prioritizes energy conservation on the ascent without compromising an ounce of authority when the slope steepens and the snow turns unpredictable. At 105mm underfoot, the ski offers a nimble platform that tracks through tight glades and floats effortlessly across hidden powder stashes, yet remains remarkably planted when you need to navigate wind-scoured ridges or technical couloirs.
