If your frame doesn't accommodate direct-mount chainrings, or you simply prefer a four-bolt design, this chainring's four-bolt construction still enables you to upgrade to Eagle.

With narrower teeth specifically shaped to accommodate the 12-speed Eagle chain, X-Sync 2's teeth look distinctively more shark-like than the boxier teeth of the original.
