The miles tick by when your connection to the road feels intuitive rather than mechanical. Zipp engineered the SL-70 Ergo with a nuanced, contoured top section that settles into your palms for those long, soul-searching climbs, while the variable-radius drop shape offers a crisp, secure transition for when the descent calls for confidence. Crafted from high-modulus unidirectional carbon, this bar manages to strip away unwanted road vibration without sacrificing the razor-sharp stiffness required for an out-of-the-saddle sprint. With a 70mm reach and a shallow 128mm drop, you get a cockpit that prizes versatility, allowing you to fluidly shift hand positions as the terrain evolves from flat valley floors to technical mountain passes. It is a subtle, weight-conscious upgrade—weighing in at a mere 205g—that cleans up your cockpit with internal cable routing, leaving you with nothing but the rhythm of the ride and the horizon ahead.
